  • Vendor spaces can be Food Trucks, Booths, or Multiple Booths.
  • Vendors are responsible for supplying and setting up their own booth.
  • Booths should be 10 x 10, please contact The Great Feast™ team if larger booths are needed.
  • Booths are required to have a cleanable ground covering such as mats, plywood, or another approved material beneath the food preparation and service area.
  • Vendors on grass need to remove floor coverings at the end of each day.
  • Bring your own tables, shelves, chairs, displays, and other booth supplies.
  • Decorate your booth to match the fun, family-friendly spirit of The Great Feast™.
  • LED lights only for booth lighting and decorations.
  • Keep your booth clean, organized, and inviting.
  • Vendors must have proper permits displayed, hand washing stations, flooring, food sources, temperature control, employee hygiene, storage, ice, cooking, food protection and equipment, sanitizer, dish washing, garbage storage and disposal, lighting, and clean-up.
  • Click here for more information from the Salt Lake City Health Department.

2. Plan for the Weather

  • If you sell out, stay at your booth and be prepared to take additional orders when possible.
  • Follow the assigned takedown schedule and leave your space clean.

4. Come Ready to Take Payments

  • Bring everything you need to accept payments, including your own card reader.

Three Days. Three Themes. Three Mystery Challenges. One Champion.

This is not your standard eating competition.

The Great Feast™ is changing the game.

Our three-day eating competition is designed to find the most well-rounded competitive eater—someone who can handle quantity, speed, precision, unexpected challenges, different foods, and the pressure of competing day after day.

Competitors will know the theme of each day, but they won’t know exactly what challenges await them until competition time.

Daily Themes

DAY 1 — SUGAR OVERLOAD

  • Sweet.
  • Messy.
  • Unexpected.

DAY 2 — FRIED GLORY

  • Hot.
  • Cold.
  • Precise.

DAY 3 — STACKED

  • Layered.
  • Fiery.
  • Conquer.

THE MYSTERY

You know the theme.

You don't know the food.

Each day includes a mystery challenge designed to test how quickly competitors can adapt to something they weren't expecting.

The exact food and challenge details will be revealed when the competition begins.

HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS

The Great Feast™ Eating Competition takes place over three consecutive days.

  • Competitors compete each day.
  • Points are awarded based on performance.
  • Points accumulate throughout the competition.
  • The leaderboard is updated after each day.
  • Competitors must compete all three days to be eligible for the overall championship.
  • Separate Men's and Women's Divisions will compete for their own championships.

Every day matters.

A strong performance can move you up the leaderboard. A mistake can cost valuable points.

THE 300-POINT GAUNTLET

Each day is worth 100 points, for a maximum of 300 points over the three-day competition.

Points are awarded across multiple performance categories, including:

Quantity — How much food you successfully consume.

Speed — How quickly you complete the challenge.

Challenge Accuracy — How precisely you meet the day's specific objective.

Mystery Challenge — How well you handle the unexpected.

Completion & Execution — Following the rules and successfully completing the challenge.

The exact scoring criteria and any applicable penalties will be provided to registered competitors before the competition.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP

At the end of Day 3, all points are totaled.

The competitor with the highest cumulative score in each division becomes a Great Feast Eating Champion.

Men's Division: 1st • 2nd • 3rd • 4th • 5th
Women's Division: 1st • 2nd • 3rd • 4th • 5th

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top five competitors in each division, with prize amounts announced before the competition.
